John Wilson has inspired several generations of fisherman so a high standard was expected as he visited some of the world’s most desirable fishing locations. I can say hand on heart that every second is a delight each programme flew. His guests and Guides are brilliant special praise must be heaped onto Chris Tarrant for his efforts. It is highly entertaining and the photography breath taking. This is not of course why we are watching it is Johns unique presenting as he catches amazing fish after fish.

This series has been given our top rating simply because it is one of the most informative and enjoyable fishing series I have ever watched. This is just the type of TV programme that should be on terrestrial TV and showing the General Public that Fishing on TV is not Boring.
