April sees the return to our shores of the Sea Bass,
which is fast becoming the focus for the English Saltwater
Fly fisherman. This fast action packed sport brings
an ever increasing number of fishermen to the shores
of the South Coast. As many have now have discovered
you do not have to be a millionaire and go to the Tropics
for top saltwater action.
This new sport also brings its own responsibilities
with it as to enjoy this sport we have to conserve these
precious environments and develop fish stocks. Yet again
this is being driven not by government but by the fisherman
who are as we speak lobbying ministers for sensible
size limits and non fishing of recognised nursery areas.
